EMBO CAPS® AP - ACID PROTECTION/DELAYED RELEASE

A non animal delayed release capsule. The capsule shell withstands immediate disintegration in an acid environment but quickly dissolves in an alkaline environment. Manufactured using Hypromellose. A vegetarian GMO Free capsule. Kosher, Halal, and Vegetarian Society certifications available.

EMBO CAPS® LP+

Designed specifically for filling liquids and fine powders by minimizing the space between the cap and the body when they are closed, preventing possible leaks prior to banding and packaging.

The conventional two piece hard capsule, comprised of cap and body parts, was generally designed and used to fill solid dosages. Through years of research and development in exclusive pin designs, EMBO CAPS® LP+ was created to minimize leakage when filling liquids or very fine powders.

EMBO CAPS® LP+ comes from a unique mold pin design, to optimize filling performance by significantly reducing the clearance between the cap and the end the body (See below), making a tighter structural characteristic. EMBO CAPS® LP+ has identical machinability with normal hard capsules, yet is able to minimize leaks after filling and before banding or sealing.

EMBO CAPS® LPR-INHALATION

Manufactured to deliver medical powders to the human lung with a special device. Designed as functional capsules, LPR capsules contain less than 5% residue of medicine on the inner wall of the capsules, thus enhancing the efficacy of the medicine taken.

EMBO CAPS® PEG

​A gelatin based capsule with a proprietary Polyethylene glycol (PEG) addition process which incorporates the PEG within the capsule shell matrix. Popular for hygroscopic fills where the addition of a humectant to stabilises the shell and prevent embrittlement is required. Available in Standard, Bovine or Porcine formulations.

HPMC capsule with extremely low moisture content (NMT 3.5%). Suitable for hygroscopic and moisture sensitive fills.
